College students more often than not struggle to find clothes that are functional, comfortable, and stylish. There’s a lot of sitting in class which usually eliminates denim because denim isn’t a friend to those who sit. Then forget about a majority of shoes because campus is rather large and buses can only take you so far. And if you’re wearing leggings or sweatpants, because denim did you dirty, and sneakers, because heeled anything is just plain impossible to walk in, then you’re likely to not be wearing a nice blouse.
For me personally, my everyday looks are filled with denim, exclusively, and heeled shoes. But I make sure that what I wear is comfortable. Anna’s wardrobe had a lot of comfortable pieces and I wanted to capitalize on that. Her denim is thrifted and as many know, the longer denim is worn the softer it gets. So if you want comfier jeans you have to wear them. Sorry.
Her shoes were also thrifted and added quirk to the otherwise average look. Chokers are a fun addition to a look (within reason and depending on how strange it is). I added a darker colored coat to stay with the cool tones of her look. Plus it was rather chilly that day and she was doing me a favor so I couldn’t possibly let her freeze.
