Fall In

Fall has shown up with as much grace as a nail splintering wood. It’s cold in the mornings, but by noon it’s just hot enough to cause a slightly sweaty upper lip. It happens, own it.

I love fall fashion as much as the next person because layering is my crowning glory. However, as I stated before, we’re in the preliminary phase of fall and that means the layering has to be limited to something that looks a lot like this. Using a light button-down and a similarly thin sweater, I was able to compensate for the chilliness without overheating. My work boots add a refined toughness and the taller socks play on the overall studiousness of the look. The skeletal system bag plays off the boots with its toughness because skulls, and by adding a brown lip I really brought fall to my face.
